Our Scooter Schools provide a fun and exciting experience for children and young people aged 5 -12 during the school holiday periods.

Our expert coaches aim to provide children and young people with the skills and confidence to safely use the ramps and equipment at skateparks. All of our sessions are run in a way that keeps children active and ensures that they have a fun and exciting experience. 

We offer both one day and two days camps for different age ranges and abilities. Our camps for kids aged 5 - 8 are designed to be fun and exciting with team games, graffiti art sessions and treasure hunts  as well as help them learn the basics of riding and using a skatepark safely. 

We offer 3 different types of Scooter School for different ages and abilities including:

1. 5-8 (Young Scooters) Scooter Schools include:

Fun team games  |  Basic riding skills  |  Basic riding for skateparks  |  Basic tricks and jumps  |  Carving on the ramps  |  How to set up and use scooters and safety equipment in skateparks  |  Lots of free skate time in the park

2. All Age Beginner / Intermediate Scooter Schools include:

We also offer camps for more ALL AGES Beginner/Intermediate Scooter School for those who learning the  basic scooter skills and riding ramps. These Scooter School focus on helping riders to improve their skatepark skills and our expert instructors provide help and advice about how to develop and execute new tricks and jumps. 

3. Advanced Scooter Schools include:

Advanced Scooter Schools are for those that use skateparks on a regular basis and have good ability levels across a range of skatepark tricks and skills. The day includes:

Fun team games  |  Learn at least 5 new tricks   |  Trick competitions with prizes for the winners  |  Demo's from expert instructors  |  Lots of free skate time in the park


Scooter Schools cost £25 for non-members and £20 for existing Zoo Skatepark members. Memberships start at only £10 per year. Find out more here.


The one day camps run 11am - 3pm and include lunch (Pizza and Drinks). You can also purchase a Zoo Skatepark T-Shirt.

Please note that helmets and pads must be worn by all riders. These can be hired for an additional £5 per child. Likewise, scooters can be hired for an additional £5 per child.
